Joining the Charlton Nursery Team
We are committed to providing a happy, positive and stimulating working environment for all of our staff and for the benefit of the children in our care. We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from enthusiastic practitioners at all levels.
We offer a generous salary, subsidised lunches, exceptional holiday entitlement after a qualifying period, subsidised childcare for staff, gym membership (at one of our sites), free car parking at both sites and both are also on a main bus route.
At Charlton Nursery, we take our responsibilities for the Safeguarding of children and young people very seriously and have rigorous policies and procedure in place, which all staff must adhere to at all times. All successful candidates will be subject to two independent references and an enhanced DBS check. Additional criminal checks will be carried out on successful candidates who have lived or worked abroad.
If you feel you have something to offer in any of our roles, please download an application form below and return it to one of our nursery managers, along with your cv.

Bank staff or holiday cover:
We are always looking for practitioners to join our bank staff team.
If you have a passion to work with children in the Early Years, but are unable to commit to consistent hours, this could be the perfect role for you!
If you are a student and would like work during the holidays, this opportunity could suit your availability.
If you have restrictions in your life such as childcare arrangements, we might be able to enable you to overcome this.
If you like the flexibility of working when it fits in with other commitments, then this opportunity might be of interest to you.
Candidates must have a passion to work with children in Early Years and ideally have a good, sound knowledge of the EYFS (although training for the EYFS can be given, so this is not essential).
